LynFix (CVR 46577590, Ravnholmvej 16, Kongens Lyngby) is a registered Danish sole proprietorship and the data controller for this website. This page explains what we collect when you get a quote, book a repair or contact us, and why. Questions or requests: info@lynfix.dk.
To quote and book a repair, we collect your name, email, phone number, device details and, for repairs at your address, your address. If you choose to, you can attach photos of your device before paying. They help us confirm the issue and are kept with your order for reference.
If you use our contact form or the option to describe your own issue, we collect whatever you write plus your email so we can reply.
Card payments are processed by WooCommerce Payments (Stripe). Your card details go directly to them, and we never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of the order and the amount paid, as required for bookkeeping.
For repairs at your address, the address you enter is sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to check the distance from our workshop and calculate any travel surcharge. Only the address text is sent, and no other details about you are attached to that request.
We use WooCommerce's standard cart and checkout cookies to keep your order together as you go through the quote flow. A separate cookie remembers whether you are viewing the site in English or Danish, and lasts one year. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Beyond WooCommerce Payments (payment) and Nominatim (address lookup), your data is not shared with anyone else. We do not sell data. We do not currently send marketing emails, but if that changes you will be able to opt out at any time.
Order and invoice records are kept for 5 years, as required under the Danish Bookkeeping Act (Bogføringsloven). Photos and booking details tied to a completed order are kept for as long as the warranty on that repair is active, so we can reference them if you make a claim.
Under GDPR, you can ask us what data we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, except where we are required to keep it for bookkeeping as above. Contact info@lynfix.dk for any of this.
